Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

So as I sit here watching football of course, waiting on my chicken parmesan to bake, I wonder something. I tried to buy a birthday card today for my sister....When did cards start to suck so bad? I tried and finally found ONE that was remotely funny, and hell I laugh at anything!!!

So they fired another guy at work today, no surprise really cuz he never gets anything done and has been talked to several times about it. However, it still worries me and makes me nervous, even though I am told a lot that I am doing a good job, even as recently as today. It makes me think, I have no clue how I would react if ever fired. Every time though I start to work my ass off though just to be sure that it doesn't happen to me.


Well if you are in a good mood this is the time for you to stop reading because I need to vent.... I miss my Uncle Dan. I am truly still in shock that he is gone. He and I were close. He grew up in West Virginia and was the biggest hillbilly you would ever meet. But I can confidently say that there is no one on Earth that didn't like the man. He could do anything, he could talk to anyone. We never got to build that still to make our own moonshine. He NEVER missed a football game of mine or my brother's, or one of my sister's softball games. Always there if you needed a ride. I could always argue with him over NASCAR since he was a Gordon fan ( I think just to piss me off). I regret never getting him to Bristol with us. He would have been in his glory. He was always there for everyone. Funny thing is, he wasn't even a blood relative, but rather a step-uncle, but you would have never known. His step kids were HIS kids, and his blood relatives only used him. We were his family... and we are all better for having him. The last memory I have of him was a smartass comment that made me laugh so hard that I though I was gonna drown in the pool. I miss him. Friday night football games just aren't the same.. I think I'm gonna do a shot of 'shine to toast his memory and watch some more football....Thank goodness for tomorrow night.
